Dealing With Getting Lost When Traveling
If traveling abroad, inevitably lost in any country or city, despite their best efforts. In that case, do not panic. It can be something. Dealing with lost when TravelingPeople who travel a lot do not like to admit a particular event. There are parallel universes wherever I go. No, I'm not talking about string theory, the theory of the bubble or any other form of quantum physics. I'm talking about the normal aspects of a position in relation to tourism issues. During a trip to a destination, no doubt, it is said that there is something that has to do, or at least time to read a guide book. Typical sites include churches, museums, buildings of historical significance and what you have. Although seeing these things may or may not be important in the context of things, one thing is indisputable. Usually, it will be with a herd of other tourists when you see them. The local people? Not one in sight. If only affects those places that have them on a journey, you are actually losing. You are simply following the tourist flock and see what life is actually in a city or town in question. For example, I live in San Diego. Hard, I do. All my friends and go places on weekends or at night are not in the tourist guidebooks. I was the famous San Diego Zoo once. When I was 7 years. Yes, it's amazing, but the locals just do not go there. mainly E 'a tourist destination. A person visiting the zoo knows nothing of what San Diego is. Sure, they can not care. When get lost in a city, not freak-out. Unless you are in a bad district, you are given the opportunity to actually experience the real story in that position. If possible, try to have a coffee or a coffee shop where we happen to be local. Chat up! They were surprised to find that a tourist walked away from the tourist area and often talk to you all day. It also tells you where to go if you really want to dip into what is really happening in the city. I did it once in Lagos, Portugal and a family practically adopted me. I ended up in his fishing boat and cruise along the coast, having to drink wine and one of the best moments of my life. At the end of the day, travel is about discovery. While cultural to see, you tend to find are just because you have to say he had seen. For real action, intentionally lose. Then and only then actually visiting the city or country to be in.

On Location February 08 - South Africa and Mozambique
My last trip took me on a trip to South Africa and Mozambique, north of Vilanculos and the archipelago where Bazurato Cyclone Favio has wreaked havoc in April. I started in South Africa for a three hour drive from Johannesburg in the Northern Province, where my first stop was Makweti Welgevonden Game Reserve, 34,200 acres of privately owned game reserve in the heart of the Waterberg district of Limpopo South Africa Makweti , set aboard a small waterfall that flows with a view to the reserve is simply beautiful. If the rhinos are your passion, this is a wonderful park to see, literally five minutes from the lodge saw six rhinos grazing peacefully (lost my enthusiasm for my guide was more interested in gnu!) As brown hyena, often so difficult to achieve, which surprisingly has allowed us to sneak behind him for ten minutes before disappearing over the hill. The next day I moved to another place in the Waterberg region and ants Hill, a beautiful structure where the focus is on horseback in the bush. Ant Hill is an eclectic mix of colors, textures and tastefully furnished in support of a splendid view. I immediately fell in love with the quiet and relaxed type of management and smiling faces great staff. My first activity was a walk in the night he asked me for a horse enough "exciting and was handsomely rewarded. We had a pleasant walk in the woods with a fantastic view of the plain with a variety of game. The highlight for me was when a picnic table with drinks and snacks prepared suddenly appeared in the corner, when the sun was going down slowly. We were told to take the detour and leave the horses on the grass - then I was expecting some dating to appear by magic and whip the horses. However, just released the horses galloped into the sunset and towards home. If only we could do with our horses in England! next morning to take advantage of the ants Hill was another safari on horseback. After several hours of tracing we found two rhinos with a rhinoceros and her baby three days. That feeling of adrenaline - there can be some exciting wildlife experiences like watching a rhinoceros, and its neighbor , while riding as a child, still feeling vulnerable excited. I too stay at Hill sister Ants, Ants Nest, a small shelter hidden in the woods that can be hired. Again, it was a wonderful combination of antiques, beautiful furniture , colorful fabrics and creative architecture. The focus here is also horseback riding, safaris and tours. I recommend you get a massage during your stay too! From Ants Nest, I headed back to Johannesburg where he flew a combination of flights scheduled and private charter Makalali Conservancy. In this book there are only two houses and I were in Garonga - aptly named "safari for the soul." The lodge is a blend of raw fabrics, wood, clay with light neutral colors of the fabrics . The game is very good despite the fact that is not sold on this basis. We saw cheetahs, lions, several plains and a variety of nocturnal animals. regular sightings in the area also elephants and kudu (Bush had during my shower four eyes on me by two bulls Kudus - a bit "embarrassing). Massage, relax by the pool, dining and reading are a must for all Garonga. I was about to venture out on deck to sleep, but a huge downpour put paid to that idea. I loved Garonga is perfectly executed, it is very relaxing and the game is excellent - an unknown jewel in South Africa. Vilanculos Next stop, the capital of southern Mozambique, where I was greeted by a blast of humidity and rain (which was visiting during the rainy season - although we have some great trips to the plains, we can not always go for the best time of 'year). After enduring the bureaucracy of the visa desk, I went to town to get the boat at Marlin Lodge in Benguerra Island. Cyclone Favio has left its mark here. The streets lay scattered trees and shanties have been destroyed the homes of all the regular places. However, I do not think that is how easy are local Mozambicans. Nothing was too much trouble. There are four main galleries that I visited during my stay in Mozambique - each in his different style. All have white sand beaches and turquoise sea of glory. Marlin is the cheapest and largest Lodge (during my visit were still in the midst of completing work
Kerala Tour - New Lifestyle
What I like about this place is that for a backpacker like me, offers unlimited options for a spiritual encounter. The beautiful blue waters, amazing natural beauty, comfortable climate and palm beaches are a great source of spiritual peace for me. At first I was totally fascinated by its scenic beauty, Kerala, but had much more to offer than I ever could imagine. The natural beauty of Kerala has long been a source of inspiration for writers, one of them described it as' God's Own Country "by unparalleled beauty and tranquility that surrounds this place. The place I lived was called to Kovalam and one of the best places for the experience of Kerala. Kovalam is a history of being a hippy past romance because it has the charm of a spectacular tropical beach and a traditional fishing village. In the quiet surroundings of the city attracts thousands tourists from all over the world for a dose of sun and relaxation experience of India. For three weeks I was in the city continued Kovalam exciting me either experience. I remember the constant sight of coconut trees and splashing water on the rocks Kerala me know. Cleaning of white sandy beach of Kovalam was irresistible and was the perfect place to tan.I heard great things about massage ayurveda in Kerala and Kerala have fallen to the right place. On many occasions I have seen tourists Caucasians with a relaxing massage on the beach. At first I was away from him, but encouraged by my wife went for a spa treatment at the hotel, including a rejuvenating herbal massage, tone the body. The experience was heavenly We were on the beach, but the Ayurvedic massage center overlooking the sea and so close that you can also hear the sound of the waves on the shore. Therapies had been made by experts and massage therapists were great, very rejuvenating . My Kerala Tour was just a nice place, but it really got me hooked to this new lifestyle I've lived here. Kerala for me was all about the organic lifestyle and the stunning beaches and ayurveda impressed me Kerala particular food. Although Kerala is known for its spices, the food here is not very spicy, I found some really delicious vegetarian dishes. Moreover, the seafood I had was too good, I loved the lobster, Kalamaki prawns and found at sea in Kovalam. When you think of fun in the water, it was wonderful clean sea waters of Kovalam. He liked the place, must be replaced in the short term.

Fishing for Better Health: The Benefits of Fish and Other Food Sources High in Omega 3 Fatty Acids
Spring is well underway and summer is fast approaching. It 's time to take their shoes off to walk without concerns for driveways and sidewalks. Parents are rummaging through the closets of dormant baseball caps and uniforms to see if last year you still. If you do not play ball you will see from the sidelines, or from the comfort of your chair. The mothers, the time to use old jeans, on the basis of sunscreen, and get the fishing rods. You heard me, sir. Fishing poles! It's time to fight! According to the American Heart Association (AHA), stroke is the third leading cause of death in women. Each year, about 97,000 American women die from stroke. Statistically, every 53 seconds time to victimize a person in the U.S.. Of the approximately 600,000 stroke victims each year about 160,000 die as a result. There are, however, a simple way to reduce these statistics. The results of a study of 14-one year about 80,000 American women indicate that eating a 3.5 ounce serving of fish two to four times a week reduces the risk of stroke by 27 percent. The more fish consumed, the more impressive the percentages. Although few large studies have examined this particular issue in men, experts say there is no biological reason results of such studies would be different. The American Medical Association (AMA) published the results of the study in his paper in January 2001. Everything indicates that consumption of fish rich in omega 3 fatty acids have significant health benefits, including reduced thrombotic infarction - a type of stroke when a clot blocks an artery in the brain, resulting in the destruction of brain tissue. (Blood clots are responsible for more than 80 percent of cases.) Fish are a high source of omega-3 fatty acids, nutrients that help prevent blood clots, or "platelet aggregation." They do this by making blood less "sticky." As a result, the risk of thrombotic stroke has decreased and the risk of embolic stroke, where the clot forms elsewhere in the body before traveling to the brain. Was performed at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, the study found that women who ate fish once a week reduces the risk Stoke 22 percent, two to four times a week, 27 percent, and five or Several times a week by 52 percent. Unfortunately, the average American woman consumes only about 1.3 servings of any fish per week, averaging 3.5 ounces per serving. Women are not eating enough fish! Penny Kris Etherton, Ph.D., heart disease researcher at the University of Pennsylvania, has long extolled the virtues of eating fish for health reasons. "Clearly tell people to eat fish and shellfish regularly to reduce the risk of heart disease." National Fisheries Institute (NFI) President, Richard E. evisceration, Jr., agrees. "The benefits of eating fish continue to increase as more studies are conducted," he said. Evisceration also said that women of all ages "should enjoy the variety and great taste of fish and seafood regularly." How to cook fish is important, as omega-3 fatty acids can be destroyed by heat, light and air. NFI recommends not overcooking the meat and use of methods of low-fat cooking: baking, broiling, poaching, steaming, frying, grilling or sauting. Cook only until the point of maximum benefit to cook. Avoid frying, as it not only destroys more omega 3 fatty acids, but also adds the total fat content. If fish consumption is not your cup of tea, you can try the fish oil supplements. Most experts do not recommend the routine use of fish oil supplements, however, for two reasons: 1.) Possible side effects - fish breath, gastrointestinal upset, and easy bruising. 2.) A false sense of security derived from taking fish oil for health purposes, when the same diet can be harmful. Besides fish and fish oil supplements, other good sources of omega 3 fatty acids include canola oil, flaxseed oil, soybean oil, nuts and some vegetables and tofu. However, you should eat at least several times the normal amount of any of these other sources to get the same benefit of a normal size portion of fish. Institute of Food Technologist, Joyce Nettleton, D. Sc, RD suggests that eating fish, and that alone can not compensate
