Korea's Busan Jagalchi Festival
FT. LEE, NJ, August 31, 2004 - The National Tourism Organization Korea and the organizers of the Festival in Busan, Busan City Department of Tourism, Culture, invite you to experience traditional Korean culture and the biggest Sea Festival seafood in Korea. Busan Jagalchi Festival is the festival of the largest fish of Korea which is held every October in Busans Jagalchi Market, one of the most famous attractions of Busan, and Nampo-dong in the center of Busan. The festival has several things to see, reenacting the traditional folk culture of fishing, as Yongwanje (Sea King Ritual), and Manseonje (prayer ritual for good fishing), fish and seafood as well as various aspects related to practical experience programs where visitors can participate and enjoy the traditional culture. It also offers free cruise visits where visitors can view the spectacular seascape around Taejongdae, Songdo Island and a fresh fish market in pieces of raw fish and other seafood can be purchased at reduced prices.
