Exploring Ontario in the Winter - Hello from Barrie and Making aGerman-Trinidadian-Austrian Connect

As much as I love the city (Toronto, that is), from time to time I and a couple of weeks I thought of a winter weekend theidea start little with my sister and my niece Jazz lawYolande. So I started surfing around theInternet to see where we go, and as I did not want tospend several hours of driving for an hour I decided justabout stations away from Toronto: I came up with the surrounding city ofBarrie ski areas are different resorts . Yesterday was a beautiful day, and 8 degrees Celsiuscertainly not a typical day in Canadian winter. Offwith I started a short walk through the city to capture an essence of this city that has become a suburban bedroom communityfor popular in Toronto. Barrie railroadconnecting The completion of the City of New York (now Toronto) in the construction of the road 400 in 1865 andthe 1950 were criticalevents that promoted the growth of this city. With its proximity toboth Toronto and Ontario lakes region and 4-season resort, Barrie is ideal for a quick winter vacation. Forests and lakes around a lot of opportunities for Barrieoffer hiking, skiing skiingand packed snow. Its proximity to Georgian Bay, the favorite haunt ofOntario areas, Barrie is a popular traveldestination close to Toronto. Lake Simcoe itself is a great ice fishing.Barrie hubfor 's center is anchored on the streets are Dunlop A variety of independently owned shops and stores. Many of the buildings along Dunlop Street date back to the city of Victoria Times and has made an effort to preserve and improve the itsarchitectural. Barrie waterfront is dominated by an impressive outdoorsculpture: Spirit Catcher, which was designed by Baird sculptorRon for EXPO 1986 in Vancouver. In the spirit of human understanding, we had our owninter-cultural experience. After I returned from my trip through downtown Barrie littlephotographic, I reconnected with my brother and nephew mysister beside the thewaterfront Spirit Catcher. Jazz exchangestudent Yolande and had met a young German named Martin, who is finishing adegree in environmental technologies in Germany and achieved a post toarrange international cooperation in a small town of Barrie northof. We had a fabulous and recalled how Martin itwas hard to achieve his dream of completing an international coopprogram Canada. But he succeeded and is spending 9 weeks here in Ontario. He said he loves the country and is accepted by the mentality theCanadian. Of course, he also plans to explore Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Niagara Falls and New York during 9-weeks hisshort season here in Canada. Martin told us that he was hisyoung had already traveled to 19 different countries, no matter where he goes he likes to connect with people fromdifferent sites. It's getting dark .... And apart from simply having a conversation, Martin, energetic ofyouthful and malice, was certainly a snowballfight and trips to some it all, something that my 8-year oldnephew fun.
